Design Your Tree Golf Course

Look around your property and locate nine trees that are about 50 - 200 feet apart.  Start to imagine them as a golf course.  Sketch it out on paper with proposed tee boxes for each hole. Then play the proposed course with a five iron and wiffle ball.  Determine par for each hole and make final adjustments to your design.

Once the course meets your approval, have friends and neighbors play a few rounds on your new Tree Golf course.  See if they have any suggestions for improving the course design.

Place your tee box markers and tree number markers. Finally, make a score card for your course (see pictures below). Use this link and follow the instructions for getting your course TGPA certified.  ..... HAVE FUN!

Thinner trees, place the...

... number marker higher.

Designated hazards are things...

... like driveways and...

... picnic tables and more.
